Located in Portland, OR

For your consideration a 1990s Soldano ROS-50 Reverb-O-Sonic Combo in Snake Skin! Michael Soldano very first amp build was based on a Fender Bassman after he got a book being thrown away from the library. After this he would experiment with modifying his Mesa/Boogie Mark II, this modified amp would be what his first Soldano amps would be based on. Since then numerous players have used one of his amp like Steve Lunkather, Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler just to name a few. Known for his high gain tones, these amps are built with the modern guitarist in mind. Beautiful rich distortion.

Specs! This amp is in very good condition. 50 watts all tube. 2×12 speaker lay out (Soldano Power Speakers). Two 6l6 power tubes, five 12AX7 pre amp tubes. Knob lay out Clean & Crunch (Preamp), Reverb, Bass, Middle, Treble, Clean & Crunch (Master), Presence. FX loop on the back. Footswitch inputs for Channel and Reverb. Comes with a Soldano Footswitch!

While Soldano is known for his high gain, this amp is quite versatile! Great bright, glassy cleans. Warm overdriven blues tones. Crank the preamp section to get that high gain madness! Very flexible but also easy to use and dial in! Amazing amp, we just don’t see these 90s Soldano’s any more!
